Complex authoring workflows that require scripting and/or sound editing tools external to the Unity Editor are what will be focused on:

  • Enhances in runtime functionality for the mixer
  • Modern DSP Effects optimized for games
  • Portal system: advanced ambience setups with sound propagations, occlusion
  • Blend and sequence audio clips
  • Non-destructive fades, splitting and merging
  • Interactive music
  • Procedurally generated sounds
  • Interactive and adaptive sound design, consuming all relevant events and states of the game and using these in advanced logic setups
