You can now enable Unity Version Control for your projects through the Unity Hub:
- Create a new project and select the checkbox “Use Unity Version Control” to store your game files in a secure backup in the cloud.
- Collaborate more easily, by inviting your team members to join your Organization and start working together on the same project. Simply use the Unity Version Control package that comes bundled with your Unity Editor. It allows you to easily update your local folder and upload new files to the cloud.
- Try it out for free (no credit card required) or leverage your existing Unity DevOps subscription.
- When getting invited to join a project hosted on the Cloud, simply click the “Add” button in the Unity Hub, to fetch the project you were invited to. Then, add it to your Unity Hub, download the project files and you’re ready to participate in the project’s development.
- You can also add existing local projects to your cloud storage of the Unity Version Control organization, by clicking the “More” button.
