The opportunity

Come join Unity and play a meaningful role in our global tax team. As a Senior Tax Analyst reporting to the Senior Tax Manager based in Copenhagen, Denmark, you will be part of the EMEA tax team and focus on indirect and direct tax operations, including compliance, controversy, financial reporting, process improvement and automation.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare/review VAT calculations and returns for EMEA entities, ensuring timely filings and providing in-house VAT advice.
  • Assist with income tax calculations and analytical tasks for EMEA entities.
  • Perform/review tax accounting entries, reconciliations, and cash tracking.
  • Collaborate with global tax and finance teams to improve processes and solve challenges.
  • Drive tax process innovation and support projects like automation, Pillar Two compliance, and R&D incentives.

What we're looking for

  • Advanced degree in Accounting/Finance/Tax with strong EMEA VAT and CIT knowledge.
  • 5+ years of indirect/direct tax experience in Big 4 or multinational companies.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and priorities across jurisdictions.
  • Proficiency in Excel, English, and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax audiences.

You might also have

  • Strong user and quick learner of technology and systems, including, but not limited to, Workday, MS office, Google suite, Alteryx, Onesource, etc.
  • Knowledge of other European languages like Danish, Finnish, Swedish, French, German or Spanish
  • Experience with US GAAP tax provision calculation
