The opportunity

Unity Technologies is seeking a self-motivated individual to join our advertising demand team as a performance manager. You excel in performance advertising, love problem-solving, and analyze data to establish insights. We want you to drive our UA efforts to improve growth for our partners. You will develop and maintain significant relationships with our key partners at every level, maintain a keen understanding of the customer’s UA strategy, product roadmap, operations, and needs, ensure those needs are met on time, and communicate those needs to the appropriate people within Unity.

You will be the specialist in providing user acquisition advice to help our mobile app clients spend their budget wisely and achieve the best return on investment of their performance marketing spend. A strong candidate will turn data into information, information into insights, and insights into business decisions.

What you'll be doing

  • Analyze campaign performance and generate actionable insights to drive continuous improvement. Utilize advanced BI tools to extract data from large-scale data warehouses and employ data visualization tools to effectively communicate business insights.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure their campaign settings follow best practices, and provide strategic, data-driven recommendations for growth and performance optimization.
  • Address and resolve daily campaign optimization challenges, ensuring performance-related issues are promptly identified and effectively managed in collaboration with advertisers.
  • Gather and consolidate advertiser feedback, working closely with the Product team to enhance the overall product experience and usability.
  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams—including Sales/AM, Product Development, Engineering, Ad Support, and Product Marketing—to align priorities and execute business objectives effectively.

What we're looking for

  • Fluent in both Mandarin and English, with excellent bilingual communication skills.
  • 1-3 years of experience in User Acquisition (UA) within the gaming industry or mobile advertising sector.
  • Strong analytical skill, highly detailed-oriented, and self-driven professional with a proactive mindset, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to effectively share insights and communicate ideas.

  • Oversee and manage projects with a broad global reach, delivering impactful results on an international scale.
  • Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in analyzing, understanding, and navigating the dynamics of the Chinese gaming market, ensuring effective integration and alignment with current trends.
